GTHL
Our hockey club provides this community’s more advanced players with the opportunity to represent the Forest Hill community in the largest minor hockey league in the world, the Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL). GTHL hockey at FHHA is both a fun and competitive experience where players will develop their skills to the highest level through practices and games against teams from all over the greater Toronto area.
The FHHA fields both “A” and “AA” teams in each age division from U10—U18. The GTHL hockey program is contact hockey for the “AA” U14 division and higher.

Commitment: 33-36 games in the regular season

FHHA Apparel: Each player receives an FHHA jersey and matching hockey socks, jacket and bag

Tryouts & Schedule

Our tryout schedules vary from year to year, and will not be scheduled until later on in the season. However, when they are scheduled, they can be found on the Tryout Schedule page of our website. You can also look at which teams have open spots by visiting our Players Wanted page.

The GTHL Season Schedule will be issued once the GTHL teams are chosen and schedules finalized. Generally, the FHHA field 10-13 teams and GTHL season lasts from mid-October to mid-April. More info can be found at https://gthlcanada.com/
Cost & Financial Assistance
The cost for GTHL teams vary from team to team. For information on costs, please reach out to the manager of your team.

Our GTHL Teams
In the last two years, we have won seven pro hockey cup championships, three city championships, seven city championship appearances, and one triple championship. We have a very competitive program with predominantly paid coaches, as we believe in excellence. We have 12 teams for the 2026/2027 season and are poised for more championships.
